Chipped steak is very easy to cook in a variety of ways from Philly cheese steak to just simply chipped steak with a salad. It substitutes for ground beef and chicken very well. Our Fisher family fave is chipped steak with sliced onion and garlic and a liberal splash of vinegar or red wine slow cooked in a skillet over low heat for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Top it with cheese and add a serving of fermented pickles or sauerkraut and you have an excellent guilt-free meal.
