We're so happy to bring you the novel Ground Turkey with Organs. Seeing the popularity of Ground Beef w/organs, we now offer a poultry version of the same.

Made up of approximately 70% white (breast) meat, 10% dark (thigh) meat, 5% liver, 2% heart, and 10% gizzard (stomach), our ground turkey with organs is a novel idea, but we find it to exceed regular round turkey in both flavor and texture, not to mention nutrition.

While organ meats have long been prized by primitive cultures nearly the world over, it seems America is rediscovering their value and nutrition in modern times. However, most people don't know that organ meat from factory raised animals or animals that are unhealthy can actually be toxic, especially liver, due to it being the body's detoxifying filter.

That said, organ meats from healthy animals that are raised outdoors in natural environment are exceedingly healthy, rich in minerals, and when masked within a ground meat, quite tasty. Liver and heart have long been looked upon by both ancient cultures and modern science as quite healthy. Chicken or turkey gizzard, or stomach, is probably less known today, but was widely recognized as recently as forty years ago, even in America.
